1. Get yourself noticed
First of all, make sure that interesting companies know who you are. Be active on LinkedIn: share interesting content, for example successes or successful cases, and create your own persona. You have to make sure you are seen as an expert in your field.
2. Talk to recruiters
Secondly – and you probably don’t want to hear this – interact with recruiters. Ask your friends and colleagues which recruiters they interact with and then go talk with them. Get to know them and let them get to know you, so they can contact you when they find a top sales job that’s perfect for you.
3. Set realistic expectations
And last but not least, be realistic. If you’ve already done the first 2 things and you still haven’t found that top sales job you’re looking for, then your expectations are probably unrealistic.
