Secondly, there’s the job security. A tech sales career is always a good option, as people who start working in tech sales often stay in this field for the rest of their career, and work their way up to become a real expert. A tech sales career is therefore a safe bet for the future.
3. The salary
Thirdly, there’s the salary, of course. I don’t think I have to explain this one, but let’s just say that even I, as a sales recruiter, am often surprised by what you can make in tech sales.
4. High demand
Fourth, tech sales professionals are in high demand. Every SaaS company needs good SDRs, and they will never say no to a good sales professional. Furthermore, I believe that every company is transforming into a tech company, and COVID-19 has only accelerated this trend. Digitisation is key.
5. The variety
Last but not least, the world of tech offers a wide variety of job positions and companies. You can work at a vendor where the software is made, you can work in a start-up, a scale-up, in international environments, smaller SMEs selling to large enterprises, smaller companies… The choice is yours.
