Do you also conduct executive searches?
In fact, every candidate we work with is recruited as if it were an executive search. Day in day out, we headhunt the right candidates. We don’t send InMails, we’re not spreading vacancies in large numbers and we don’t present opportunities without having spoken to the person first. Whether we’re looking for a Head of Sales or an Account Executive, we’re all about a personal approach in a direct search.
Are you also in contact with international candidates?
Of course! After all, Headlight is focused on the entire Benelux. We work with many sales professionals who speak several languages, who (want to) work abroad or remote, and who want to target other countries.
Will the candidate act as a consultant on Headlight’s payroll or will they be part of our own team?
90% of what we do is permanent recruitment. That means that our candidates are not consultants and they are not on our payroll; we provide permanent placements at your company. Why wouldn’t we? We completely understand that when you find a good sales professional, you want to keep this person in your own team.
Do you only recruit sales profiles, or also marketeers and pre-sales?
We only focus on salespeople, so we don’t recruit technical profiles, marketeers or project managers. Headlight can help you recruit the following profiles:
- Operational sales (SDR, AE)
- Strategic sales (BDM, Sales Manager)
- Organisational sales (Executive VP Sales)
Do you pre-screen your candidates?
Yes, every candidate we present is pre-screened by one of our consultants. During the screening process, we look at candidates’ experience, motivation, goals, salary expectations, successes, failures, skills, etc. As we are sales professionals ourselves, we can accurately identify the right salespeople for your company.
Does Headlight require exclusivity?
No, we don’t, so feel free to look for candidates yourself too. That being said, we do advise not to work with multiple third parties. We have a large network of potential candidates who we know personally, but sometimes we also have to approach passive candidates. In this case, it’s best for your credibility if we can approach them as an exclusive partner of your company.
